Feels good to put the running shoes back on...

I cant even tell you how great it felt to put my runnig shoes back on today!! Its been 2 months since I last put them on...can you believe that TWO MONTHS!!!! thats just wrong!! I was so busy my last semester with school and work that I put aside my passion. Now that I am done with school and still unemployed I get to stay home and do something I love...RUN, and feel good!!! I'm not gonna lie though I was pretty scared when I stepped on the tread mill today. I was thinking how hard it was going to be and that I probably should never of stopped working out but that time has passed and its time to get back!! I'm really excited since I am home by my self all day I might as well take advantage of it!!!
Today was also Jordan's first day of work! He left bright and early. He has about a half hour commute. I cant wait til he comes home and tells me all about it.
I also met my nephew two weekends ago. He is the cutest little thing ever!! I was never bored when I was aroudn him!!! Thats amaing for me because I get bored so easily. He is almost 4 months and is smiling and if you make him really happy he will giggle its so cute! I love it. I cant wait to see him again!!

I didn't take any pictures of packing because I thought I was going to rip my hair out! Thank goodness for my mother in law, mom, and grandma. With out them I think I would still be in Rexburg trying to pack everything up!!!!

And our road trip begins.....
(I took this picture when we were going through the mountains in Idaho)
So we left Rexburg Sunday the 11Th around 1pm...we left about 4 hours later than we wanted to but that's okay. My parents got us a GPS for our graduation present, and they also didn't want us getting lost on the way out to Virginia. (we took 80 the whole way..it was kinda hard to get lost) but the GPS was amazing because it tells you the restaurants that are around and hotels. Usually we just stop somewhere quick to eat and get back on the road but since we had the GPS we decided to go places we have never been. It was great!
The first night we stopped in Laramie WY. It was so funny cause we wanted to stay somewhere cheap, but not feel like we were going to get murdered in the middle of the night. Where did Jordan pick to stay? The Gas Lite Inn. Now I had never seen one of these but this was a one of a kind. I wish I took a Picture. It was so late and I was so tired I didn't even care. But lets just say The outside looked like a log cabin, and it had statues of Cowboys and Indians. There was 10 cats inside the room where you check in, and Pocahontas was on our wall staring at me....haha it was clean though and the bed was comfy so I didn't really mind :)
The second day I wanted to get far cause we had an earlier start. Driving sure makes you tired...I haven't figured out why though all your doing is sitting. Its all that concentration I guess. We were driving through Nebraska which is the LONGEST state ever! We decided to stop for lunch somewhere that I cant pronounce in Nebraska and since we had our handy dandy GPS we used it. So I wanted something fresh and on the GPS Heavenly Homemade Sandwich came up and that was what I wanted. I cannot express enough how amazing this place was. The bread was homemade (hence the homemade part in the name) and it was so delicious. It was by far the best turkey sandwich I have ever had. yum yum I want one right now. (even though I just ate lunch it was not nearly as good as this Heavenly Homemade Sandwich) After my delicious amazing yummy sandwich we got back on the road and made it to Omaha where we stooped for the night. The next day we made it to Indiana and then the last day we drove 12 hours to Virginia. The car ride really wasn't that bad. Jordan let me drive a lot so I would complain about being bored. What a smart cookie! Now that were here we have just been unpacking and getting settled. I love the weather here its so warm and humid I LOVE it! I'm def going to miss everyone in Rexburg and we better all keep in touch!!!!

We have a plan!!

Finally we have a plan for after graduation! Jordan has been interviewing for a few companies our east. This past Tuesday he got an offer for an internship in Springfield, Virginia! DO YOU KNOW WHAT THIS MEANS??? We are moving to Virginia!! YESSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS I am so excited, happy, grateful, excited, grateful, blessed, and everything else that goes along with it! I was starting to get use to the idea that we were going to be in Rexburg for the summer, and Jordan would do his internship at the school and who knows what I would have done. I will have more job opportunities out east than I will in Rexburg. But now we know what we will be doing and they said that after he is finished with the internship he could apply for a full time position! Even better its a paid internship! Jordan will start April 26th! We don't have an exact date as to when we will be moving but it will be shortly after graduation. Well that's pretty much all the exciting news I have. Oh yeah only 6 more weeks of school! I am ready for this semester to be over. But we all knew that! I say it 1bazillion times a day!

Things have been going well for us here in Rexburg. Lots of snow, homework, work, and everything else that consumes our life! We are enjoying our last semester and cant wait for spring to come! Jordan is still looking for an internship. As of now everything is up in the air as of what will happen in April if we graduate. Hopefully we will move but who knows we could be in Rexburg for the summer. We will just have to see!
Jordan's Birthday is tomorrow! We pretty much celebrated his birthday this weekend. We figured we wouldn't have a lot of time on Monday to do stuff because were in school and have work, and 24 is on!!! We decided to go out to dinner Saturday night. I wouldn't let him open his presents yet though. That has so wait til Monday! Opps I forgot to buy candles for his birthday cake!! I guess I'll be making a quick trip to the store tomorrow!!

2010 will be a great year!!!

WOW it's January 1, 2010! That's crazy! It will be a great year though. Jordan and I graduate in April, I am going to be an aunt in 4 days, we will move from Rexburg at some point this year. Hopefully April, and Jordan and I will be able to get REAL jobs with our college degrees!! Sounds like a great year to me!! I am very excited for this new year and have lots of new years resolutions that I hope to keep!!

We have had so much fun here in Maryland/ Virginia. We have been playing and laughing and running around and getting our much needed sleep!! The first few days we were here we went to the mall like a million times to get Christmas presents. Then Christmas eve we went caroling with some friends at the nursing home near our home. After that we have a tradition to go to the visitor center to see the lights and hear the sister missionaries sing. It was really pretty and the missionaries sounded great!! We come home and of course what do we do? What the 24 hour marathon of a Christmas Story. Best Christmas movie ever!! Christmas morning was wonderful. It was so great to be with our family and enjoy each other. We were able to skyp with my oldest sister and her husband because they couldn't be here with us due to the baby they are having this Monday!! yayy we are sooo excited for them. I can't wait to be an aunt and hold my little nephew. :)

The Saturday after Christmas Jordan's sisters came and picked us up and we went down to Virginia to be with them for the weekend. We had so much fun, eating lots of junk food, and playing board games. Monday we went to the dentist since we hadn't been before we got married and guess what....Jordan and I have perfect teeth!! Well that's what the dentist said..I think it's just cause we didn't have any cavities. But we were really happy about that! We weren't trying to pay for fillings too! We came back to Maryland on Tuesday and have been laughing even more. Their have been a lot of funny moments! Its been great!

Yesterday for New Years Eve day we went down to D.C. and went to the Spy Museum. I really liked it. It was pretty cool! Jordan thinks he is a spy now so he really liked looking at all the cool gadgets and stuff they used to be a spy. He wants to go into the FBI so he loves that kind of stuff!! We also saw a the wizards center player Brendon Hayword. He were eating in Fudruckers and he came in to eat with his friends but brought food from another restaurant and the manager yelled at him and told him he had to leave. He is like 7 feet tall so he stood up and started talking back to her. haha they got into a little fight and she said she would call the cops, so he just ended up leaving. Jordan thought it was so funny and cool cause he loves basketball and who doesn't like seeing famous people! Also last night our friends Justin and Kristy came over and we played games, and rock band and hung out. Then we watched the ball drop and finally fell asleep!

We have had so much fun on our winter break. I'm not super excited to start school but I am super excited to finish school!! We still have a few more days here to play with our family but it doesn't seem like long enough!! Oh well we will enjoy our new year and hopefully I will blog more, that should be a resolution for this year!! Okay I will post pictures later!!!
