He Is Still a Boy!!!!!

I had my second sonogram yesterday. They wanted me to go back in for a second look because he was only 16 weeks when I went the first time and they wanted to see a better look. First things first...he is still a boy! Yay I'm happy we had a double check on that. This time the sono was really weird. I had a different lady that was doing it and she was really really I mean REALLY hard to understand. I had to ask her like 1 million times what she was saying. She finally said "You don't understand me very well." I wanted to say well yeah your accent is so thick I don't know if you are speaking English. But I didn't say that I just smiled and laughed uncomfortably.

The first girl that we went to was so awesome. Obviously Jordan and I had no idea what we were looking at on the screen so she would explain to us everything. This lady just kind of did her thing. I kept having to ask her what we were looking at and then it took me like three times to understand what she was saying. And she really didn't show us our little guy. For like 1 second she showed us the profile and then he put his hand over his face so she decided we didn't really need to see him anymore I guess.

All the measurements came out on track this time. So they didn't change my due date again thank goodness! He was 11oz. If she told me the length I didn't understand her so I'm not sure about that one. He was a lot bigger this time than a month ago. Even though I was kind of...or a lot disappointed about the appointment I am just very thankful everything looked and is normal. He is growing properly and we are both doing well! I was just really excited to see him and then I didn't really see him...or at least it didn't look like him. I was comparing the pictures from a him at 16 weeks to him at 20 and there definitely is a size difference but honestly I like the 16 week pictures better. They are just better shots of him and stuff. The 20 week ones some of the ones she gave us I have no idea what it is a picture of. She didn't label all of them so some are just blobs. haha kinda funny I guess.

Anyway I keep trying to take a picture of my belly and I just can't get a good picture I like. I will try again. I keep looking at my face in pictures (b/c of what that lady said to me) and I get self conscious and don't want to post anything.

We go to FL next week so maybe I will get an awesome picture then and post that. Or maybe I will try this weekend to get a good picture. I'll do my best. but can't make any promises.

This is how I feel right now....

Except Instead of my falling asleep on my computer I am falling asleep in a gym. And I don't have coffee in my cup its just water. And I don't have that cool phone on my ear. But you get the idea right?

Something about waking up at 5 two days in a row with out a nap in the afternoons is just killing me. I cannot wait to take a nap today though. It's going to be great! Some ladies at work told me that I should be getting more energy back soon...or eventually. Did that happen for all you prego women. I still just want to sleep if I can. I mean I know my work schedule is weird and I am pretty active during the day but I pretty much think about my warm comfy bed a lot.

Atleast it is Friday though! I love weekends, and I really love when my weekend starts at 2pm. So I guess I really shouldn't complain about being tired because I get off at 2, so my weekend starts earlier than most people.

I just want to say that I haven't had a Slurpee in 2 weeks! I guess that phase it over? Who knows. Okay I'm out.

Key Largo Montego, Baby why don't we go

Baby Moon in 2 weeks from today!! Yay We are so excited! We are going to go down to Florida! Where it is warm and sunny and I can get a tan! We will be in Key Largo area most of the time, but also seeing what Miami is like too. I have never been to that side of Florida before. I have only been to Naples, and Orlando area. Jordan has never been to Florida so we are so excited to get away for a little bit!!!

It took us a while to decide where we wanted to go but when we realized I didn't have a passport, and saw that passports are taking a bit longer to get these days we decide to stay state side. I guess Bermuda and the Caribbean will have to wait until next time!

Baby Update:

Everything is good with our little guy. He is moving everywhere apparently. I can't feel him yet but when we went to the doctors on Monday for a check up she would find the heart beat and then he would squirm around and she would have to re-find it. That happened about 4 times! :) Were gonna have an active little boy! I have taken a picture and am planning on posting it soon. I just have to get it off my camera! So stay tuned to see my small baby bump.

Cravings.....

I really haven't had too many cravings during my pregnancy so far. EXCEPT for Slurpee's! Oh my gosh this is all I drink. (well water too) but honestly I have at least 3 a week! haha and I get the big size like the kind in this picture! They are so yummy and satisfying.

I still don't really want anything healthy though besides fruit. I like pizza and Slurpee's. That is my favorite meal I think. I really wish I wanted salads and chicken but chicken still makes me feel sick and salads just don't sound good. I'd rather eat pizza.

Someone at work told me I looked prego in my face not my stomach.....awesome. Probably because I drink slurpees and eat pizza. I guess I brought it on myself. But still you don't have to tell me that! I mean c'mon sensitive pregnant women here!

Maybe I'll post a picture of me soon. I'm 18 weeks now. I'll have to decide because I'm kinda self conscious of my face now.

It was wrong...IT'S A BOY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

We were so shocked. Not just because the baby cake said it would be a girl, but we actually thought it was a girl! Right when she told us it was a boy I turned to look to see Jordan's reaction and it was so cute! His jaw dropped and he looked so adorable! You could tell he was so happy to be having a son!

So I loved getting to see our little guy! We were there for about an hour! It was great! He was so active to! Oh my goodness he was squirming around so much. At one point he put his head through his legs. The ultra sound tech was laughing too. It was really funny.

So do you wanna hear some more shocking news. I am only 16 weeks and 2 days! WHAT how did that happen? How were they so wrong on my due date. The OB told me I would be due July 21st, now I am due August 16th. That's a whole month off! So I have to wait a longer to meet our little man!

The good thing is since I was only 16 weeks they want me to come back at 20 weeks to do another sono! Yayyy I get to see my little boy again! They said he was just small so they wanna see him when he is a bit more developed. They said as of now everything looks great and he looks good! They were like we are so sorry you have to come back but I was happy!

We are going to be proud parents of a Baby Boy! Now on to the shopping and name picking!!!
