The Latest With Us

This is my nephew Jonathan. I found this picture on my camera and thought it was so funny. I hope my sister doesn't mind I'm posting it. haha

Well I have yet not blogged for a very long time. Last I told you I got a job. Its going so great, and I love working there. Its a lot of fun. I just found out that I love teaching step aerobics. I was always afraid to teach step because you have to be right on with everything and if you mess up everyone knows but its so fun. I teach the beginner class and its now my favorite class to teach.

I am also teaching a circuit training class, a body sculpt class, an ab class, and a kickboxing class. Its going well. I had my first health consultation on Thursday and my first personalized exercise program also. Its fun to design work outs for people and see how they like them.

Jordan is doing great also. He is working hard, and it seems like the company really wants him to stay once his internship is over. He hasn't been really searching for any other jobs so he will probably stay there until he finds something else. He wants to start applying to government jobs like the FBI, CIA, and others.

Our living situation has been kinda interesting since I got the job. We have been living down in Stafford, Virginia with Jordan's family because its only about 25 minutes from where Jordan works. Well since I have been working up in Rockville Maryland its about an hour away. I have to work 3 days a week early in the morning...like 5:45am so I have been staying with my parents in Maryland because its only 15 minutes from where I work. So its kinda annoying because I am in Maryland a few days a week while Jordan is down in Virginia. On the weekends we are in Virginia though. We just need to get our own place. We are trying to find the best deals though so we don't wanna rush into anything. Also its been hard to look since we both work full time. I have been researching online but everything is super pricey. Not like Rexburg when we were all made Hyde Park was going up to $575. haha man I wish that was the case here.

So that's whats been going on with us as of late. My sister and her husband and Jonathan just moved to Virginia Beach and we cant wait to go visit them. Hence they live by a beach so that will get me down whenever I can!! We miss them up here but are super glad they live close enough to visit often.
Carole Ann surprised us this past week and came up for a few days with Jonathan. Jon had to go out on a ship for a few days so she decided to come up. It was a lot of fun playing with Jonathan, going on walks, and being at the pool.

This is our new car that I promised I would put a picture up of.
We really like it. We had a little scare though last week. My neighbor said she heard on the radio the dodge caliber was being recalled for the same reason as the Toyota's were. We researched and we found out it was the 07 model and we have the 09 so we were okay.

And one of our favorite things to do....DUH go out to eat!! Jordan took me to this really yummy Italian restaurant and we got the West Coast pizza. haha it was Hawaiian pizza. It was super good and whenever I look at this picture I want to go there!!!

For Memorial Day we went to Kings Dominion. Its an amusement park over here. It was so much fun. We rode a ton of rides. It was really hot but we didn't care. I didn't take any pictures. I was having too much fun to remember about my camera.
That's what has been going on with us!
We really like it here and I love the HOT weather.
Until next time!!!

I have a job!!!

Well can I just tell you how busy I have been. I was extended a position last Friday as a Fitness Specialist for a company called Corporate Fitness Works!! I interviewed for this position the whole month of may. I had three interviews and finally they extended the position to me. We were so excited!! Now since Jordan works in Springfield, and I work in Rockville Maryland we were in a bit of a pickle when it came down to the car...So we got a new one!!! Yayyyy We went car shopping all day last Saturday and picked out a car. Its a Dodge Caliber and I just love it!! Its sorta like a mini SUV. It gets good gas mileage and it was in our price range. I started work on Monday. I was getting trained to I had to go to all of our fitness centers in the region. I went to Sprint Center in Reston, VA then I went to Census in Suitland, Maryland. Then finally I went to Westat in Rockville Maryland where I will be staying for now on. It has been really fun so far. Now I'm sure you are all wondering what does a fitness specialist do? Well I will tell you...

Our company contracts with other companies. For example I am working at Westat which is a Research company. All the employee's of Westat can join our fitness center which is located in there office building. So I teach classes, do personalized exercise programs, health consultations, health interviews, health promotion programs, everything to get them ready to join our facility. I work with two other fitness specialist and we pretty much run the center and keep everything up so its looking nice and all that other great stuff. Its really a fun job. I get to do exactly what I wanted! My favorite classes in school are the ones that prepared me for this job. I was thinking right after I received the position how much BYU-Idaho prepared me for the real world. I had so many opportunities to get real world experience. During the interview process they asked a lot of questions related to experiences that I have had in the Health field. Luckily BYU-Idaho gave me all of those experience that I was able to tell them about. I am so thankful that I was able to go to a University that allowed me to go outside of my comfort zone and have to be the leader many times in my college career. I'm pretty sure I complained about it often but now looking back if I didn't have those experiences I probably would not have this job.

Anyway so Jordan and I are doing great!!! Traffic is kinda annoying but I get to drive a cute car! :) that makes up for it! haha

So that's my update for now. Hopefully we will be doing something fun for Memorial Day and I can post about that. We haven't really made plans yet. Oh yeah and I will post some pictures of our new car soon!

Front Row...Heck Yeah!

We went to an O's game last weekend. Orioles vs. Red Sox. It was a good one above was where we originally sat. Really good seats and a great view of the baseball diamond, but then we upgraded to these.....

If you look really closely and know what my parents look like you can see my dad, and mom in the second row. Jenney is down there too but you cant really see her from this picture. This is a picture we took from our original seats two decks above them. (we zoomed in a ton of course)

Our awesome next door neighbor offered us her amazing seats for the Orioles vs Red Sox game. We love going to baseball games especially when we get to sit in there seats. So she got us all tickets and we all went on Saturday night. We were really excited to go, it was a great day and the Red Sox were in town. We root for the O's now since we have lived in Maryland for almost 11 years. We used to root for Boston but then we felt we were betraying our home team!

So this is how it happened...We arrived at Camden yards at about 6:30 for a 7:05 game. We decided we would eat first before the game started. Of course we had to go to Boogs BBQ our favorite spot at Camden yards! So we were walking to go find a table, my dad and Jordan were in front of my mom, Jenney, and me when I hear a lady say excuse me a few times. I turn around and she asked us if it was just us three and I told her that there was two more in front of us and two more coming. She sighed and kinda was like ohh...then my mom asked why? She said oh well my friend isn't feeling well and we are going to go home and we wanted to give our tickets to some one...then she goes on to say they are front row seats right behind home plate!! I was like uhh I'll take them. She didn't want any money or anything she just didn't want them to go to waste. So we took the tickets. I ran over to tell me dad and he was like Oh my gosh seriously. We all obviously wanted to sit in those seats so we decided to be fair....since my dad bought all of us tickets in the first place we decided to take shifts. haha yes only the Premont family would actually split up the time so we can all get a change to sit there. My mom, dad and Jenney took the first shift. Then Jordan and I switched at the top of the 5th inning. Then Carole Ann and Jon came at the bottom of the 7th. And my dad stayed there the whole game.

It was a blast!!! It is a totally different ball game being so close to the players and all! My fav player Nick Markais hit a home run along with Luke Scott and some others! It was pretty cool!

This is Nick...I'm pretty sure we are on first name bases now since I sat right behind him and cheered for him!!!

After the game!

Feels good to put the running shoes back on...

I cant even tell you how great it felt to put my runnig shoes back on today!! Its been 2 months since I last put them on...can you believe that TWO MONTHS!!!! thats just wrong!! I was so busy my last semester with school and work that I put aside my passion. Now that I am done with school and still unemployed I get to stay home and do something I love...RUN, and feel good!!! I'm not gonna lie though I was pretty scared when I stepped on the tread mill today. I was thinking how hard it was going to be and that I probably should never of stopped working out but that time has passed and its time to get back!! I'm really excited since I am home by my self all day I might as well take advantage of it!!!
Today was also Jordan's first day of work! He left bright and early. He has about a half hour commute. I cant wait til he comes home and tells me all about it.
I also met my nephew two weekends ago. He is the cutest little thing ever!! I was never bored when I was aroudn him!!! Thats amaing for me because I get bored so easily. He is almost 4 months and is smiling and if you make him really happy he will giggle its so cute! I love it. I cant wait to see him again!!

Here's some pictures from graduation!!
Enjoy!

Waiting to start convocation! We had front row. Good thing I graduated with Jordan!

Yay we did it!

The sign tells all

The Premont clan

Mom and Dad with the Graduate
I didn't take any pictures of packing because I thought I was going to rip my hair out! Thank goodness for my mother in law, mom, and grandma. With out them I think I would still be in Rexburg trying to pack everything up!!!!

And our road trip begins.....
(I took this picture when we were going through the mountains in Idaho)
So we left Rexburg Sunday the 11Th around 1pm...we left about 4 hours later than we wanted to but that's okay. My parents got us a GPS for our graduation present, and they also didn't want us getting lost on the way out to Virginia. (we took 80 the whole way..it was kinda hard to get lost) but the GPS was amazing because it tells you the restaurants that are around and hotels. Usually we just stop somewhere quick to eat and get back on the road but since we had the GPS we decided to go places we have never been. It was great!
The first night we stopped in Laramie WY. It was so funny cause we wanted to stay somewhere cheap, but not feel like we were going to get murdered in the middle of the night. Where did Jordan pick to stay? The Gas Lite Inn. Now I had never seen one of these but this was a one of a kind. I wish I took a Picture. It was so late and I was so tired I didn't even care. But lets just say The outside looked like a log cabin, and it had statues of Cowboys and Indians. There was 10 cats inside the room where you check in, and Pocahontas was on our wall staring at me....haha it was clean though and the bed was comfy so I didn't really mind :)
The second day I wanted to get far cause we had an earlier start. Driving sure makes you tired...I haven't figured out why though all your doing is sitting. Its all that concentration I guess. We were driving through Nebraska which is the LONGEST state ever! We decided to stop for lunch somewhere that I cant pronounce in Nebraska and since we had our handy dandy GPS we used it. So I wanted something fresh and on the GPS Heavenly Homemade Sandwich came up and that was what I wanted. I cannot express enough how amazing this place was. The bread was homemade (hence the homemade part in the name) and it was so delicious. It was by far the best turkey sandwich I have ever had. yum yum I want one right now. (even though I just ate lunch it was not nearly as good as this Heavenly Homemade Sandwich) After my delicious amazing yummy sandwich we got back on the road and made it to Omaha where we stooped for the night. The next day we made it to Indiana and then the last day we drove 12 hours to Virginia. The car ride really wasn't that bad. Jordan let me drive a lot so I would complain about being bored. What a smart cookie! Now that were here we have just been unpacking and getting settled. I love the weather here its so warm and humid I LOVE it! I'm def going to miss everyone in Rexburg and we better all keep in touch!!!!
