Jackson turned 5 months on Wednesday! I can't believe I have a 5 month old baby. It's crazy! Here is how he is doing:
Weight: 14.5lbs -Getting big!
Has tried rice cereal 3 times -Hates it! hopefully soon he will start to like it though. :)
Can sit up with assistance. I set him in the boppy sitting up and he does really good.
Teething already! -His two bottom teeth are poking through, which means Jackson doesn't always feel good. It's sad but were getting through it. I just can't believe he already is getting his teeth. I want his smile to be all gums forever! I'm actually a little sad. I'll get over it I guess.
Sleeping situation....oh gee. He will not go down in his crib. He either wants to be held or in mom and dads bed....no bueno people! I don't know what to do. I am too weak and I cant just let him cry..it makes me upset. He is still so little.
He is rolling over now from back to front! Usually when he is mad that I wont pick him up he just decides to roll over, and is actually liking his tummy time more.
He is now wearing 3-6 month clothes and some 6 month!
He LOVES his new stroller. We have been going on walks with our friend and he just loves to look around outside. He usually falls asleep too. It's just that smooth of a ride!
Pictures now! My sweet little Jackson just makes my world.
And last but not least! Jordan starts his new job on Tuesday. He is really excited! I am too because he is going to be taking the train into work now and I will know exactly when he will be getting home because there won't be any traffic. YAY.

I finally got a BOB
I am a proud new owner of a BOB jogging stroller. I love it. I took it out for my first jog today and it was so much fun, and a lot harder than I thought. I can't wait to keep going out. Jackson has one sweet ride now! He still has to be in his car seat when we go out because he can't sit up by himself yet but in these pictures I just
sat him in it to see if he liked it. He LOVES it, and he likes to use the car seat adapter as a foot rest. haha It is pretty funny.

This kid cracks us up.
Jackson is now 4 months old and is doing some funny things. I mean I am sure all babies do this but its our first so we just laugh with him..sometimes at him. No I am only kidding. I don't have a picture or video of this yet but he loves to scream now. Not because he is mad or anything just because he likes to hear the sound of his own voice. It's pretty humorous. We call him our little teradactyl. He just screeches as long as he can until he has no breath left in him. Then he usually laughs afterwards. He is so cute and funny.
He has also found his feet. He found them a while ago but he now loves to eat them. If he is on his back he is usually eating his toes. I guess they taste good. I should sprinkle sugar on them. :)
And something else funny is when he is nursing he will try to stick his thumb in his mouth also. He wants milk and to suck his thumb. Crazy kid. I have to pull his thumb out at least once or twice a feeding. He will just smile at me and then go back to eating.
Jackson is weighing in now at 13.8lbs and is 24.5 inches long. We had round 2 of shots and it was not nearly as bad as round 1. Round one was one of the saddest days of my life. I never want that to happen again.
Our little guy is keeping us on our toes. He can now roll over from back to front. Which I guess means no leaving him on the bed anymore alone. He is grabbing for about everything in site. He loves to be held. He is talking or "screeching" a lot, and loves to laugh when mommy and daddy give him kisses.
Here are a few pictures of Jackson. Enjoy!

Christmas 2011
We had a great Christmas break with our family. We traveled back and forth from Maryland to Virgina so we could get time with both families. We were with my family Christmas eve and Christmas this year. We went caroling to a nursing home with friends and then to the visitor center on Christmas eve to watch the Sister Missionaries perform. That is a family tradition that we all love to do. It was a lot of fun having Christmas with our new addition. The pictures may be slightly out of order. Enjoy!
We hope you all had a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!!!
