Nana came to visit

My Nana came to visit us this past week. Jackson Loves his great grandmother. Me and Jordan stayed up at my parents house a few days so we could have more time with her.

We were trying to take a cute picture of all of us and this was the best we could get.

It was so much fun to have Nana with us. We can't wait for her to come back at Christmas to see how much bigger Jackson will be.

Jackson is 2 months

Jackson's Aunt Danie made him this cute hat! Just in time for fall!

Jackson is now 2 months old! Time is flying. I am having so much fun staying home with this little guy everyday. My maternity leave officially is over. I am not a stay at home mom. I.love.it.

Jackson can hold his head up really well now. He still needs a little help but is doing great. He is smiling a lot. He is sleeping longer through the nights. Not quite all the way through the night, but a lot more than before. He has his 2 month check up this week so we will get his stats then.

Lost Camera

I lost my camera. I am sooooooo incredibly bummed. All I remember is that last Saturday we went out to dinner. I told Jordan to grab the camera. (you never know when you are gonna need it now that we have a baby.) He set it on the kitchen table...I put it in the diaper bag. Then went on our way. Jackson slept the whole time so I never took it out of the bag. Sunday at church I noticed it wasn't in by bag. hmm must have fallen out in the car. Nope. I called the restaurant and no one turned it in there. I am thinking it fell out somewhere and someone picked it up maybe? I have no idea. I am so sad though. I mean I have had the camera for a few years but I spent a lot of money on it, and I had taken some cute pictures on Friday and Saturday that I never loaded to the computer. :( We have other camera's but I want mine back! I pray that it will turn up somewhere. Or someone will be kind enough to return it if they found it at the restaurant. Aw man. I hate when stuff like this happens. :(

Jackson's Blessing Day

It was such a special day. Our families were able to come and spend the day with us. Here are a few pictures of Jackson in his cute outfit that his Aunt Danie got for him!

This was at the end of the day. Everyone was relaxing. Look at Jackson. Haha he is lounging on Carole Ann. So cute. Pretty soon we will be going to see her new little boy be blessed.

Jackson now weighs 10lbs. He is cooing so much, and starting to smile. Which is my absolute favorite. He knows his parents voices. He loves love loves to be bounced like crazy. And I don't mean baby bounces. He likes huge bounces. I guess that is what happens when you teach step aerobics for 9 months. :) He is growing everyday and I still can't believe that he is mine. We love him so much!

Jackson is 1 month, his first bath, and trip to D.C.

I am way behind on blogging. We have been busy as of late. Here is what has happened in the past few weeks. Jackson turned 1 month old! (tomorrow he will be 6 weeks..see how behind I am) He finally had his first bath. It took forever for his cord to fall out. And Jordan's uncle came to visit us and we spent lots of time in D.C. and hanging out with the Packham family.

We had such a great time with them. Jordan had 3 days off work plus the weekend. It was awesome having Daddy around! Jackson also did so great out and about. I had never really taken him anywhere for longer than an hour. We spend 2 days downtown and he was such a great little boy. He only got fussy on the way home. I would sing to him in the car and we figured out that he really likes Taylor Swift "Our Song" I don't know all the words but the first verse and chorus he really liked!

Last week I also got cleared to exercise again. I have been working out with my good old pal Jillian. :) My doctor says that my scar is beautiful. haha she can't believe how well I healed. It is already starting to fade. YAY She said she was going to have to take all the credit for that...which is fine she was the one that did the surgery.

So that is a little bit with what is going on with us.

Jackson is napping and that means I should too.

Big Stretch

Jackson is 1 month old!!!

First time in a big boy tub. No more sponge baths. Thank goodness. It only took 4 weeks for his cord to fall out.
