We have broke Jackson...Well I think we have? Last Friday Jordan and I decided we need to sleep, well at least I needed to sleep through the night. Wait I mean Jackson needed to sleep through the night so WE could sleep through the night. Yeah that's better. We had tried some stuff before but nothing really worked because I couldn't just let him cry, the we tried the go in every so many minutes..that just made it worse. So we just decided to rock him to sleep, then when he wakes up we are not getting him.

The first night was interesting. He slept for a few hours then at 1am he woke up and cried for an hour. Then he stopped crying, but he wouldn't lay down. He just sat up in his crib until 5am. I went in there to check on him and couldn't believe he was still sitting up. I felt so bad so I picked him up and he fell right asleep. 

Night number two we did the same thing. I was really worried he was going to do this sitting up thing again but he didn't. He cried for 15 minutes around 12:45 then at 3 I went to see what he was doing and he was passed out. LYING DOWN! thank goodness.

Night number 3 was even better. He didn't wake up at all. And same for night 4. Night 5 he did wake up but he put himself back to sleep rather quickly. So I am hoping this is it and we have broken this kid! 

I came home from teaching my class Monday evening and this is what I found..so cute.

He just loves to climb on everything! He has 6 teeth now. The two front ones just crack us up!

9 months!

 Jackson is 9 months old! Holy Cow that went by so fast!! We had his 9 month doctors apt yesterday and here are the stats

Weight 18.5lbs

Heights 27inch

5 teeth going on 6

Has moved to eating table food (we gave up on baby food at about 7 1/2 months because he hated it so much) 

Loves to crawl everywhere

Loves to stand up on everything

Can walk around the furniture

Can crawl the stairs all by himself

Can pick up cheerios and other small foods 

Loves all electronics (we gave him one of our old computers that we don't use anymore to pound on, its pretty cute)

Not sleeping through the night...uhh we are going to be fixing this soon!

Jackson's first Baseball game

Jackson went to his first baseball game last Friday night. He LOVED it. He did really great considering it was a 7pm game. He loved when the crowed would cheer. We had a great time together. Jordan's company was celebrating there 10th anniversary so they treated everyone and there families to the game! It was the Nationals vs. Orioles. O's won! WhopWhop. It was fun to meet all of Jordan's co workers. We will def be taking Jackson back to more games this summer. :)

Again here they are with one of the presidents...honestly I don't remember who this was. The only president that was obvious to me was Abe...so I had to read the back to the Jerseys to tell which one was which.

Can you see Jack just staring around at everything. We had the hardest time getting him to look at the camera. Can't wait to go to another game with the fam!

8 Months

Jackson turned 8 months last week! He is growing so fast. I feel like i just posted about him being 7 months. Time is just flying! Here are his stats!

Weight: 18lbs

-He is crawling everywhere

-Climbing up on everything

-He can stand and walk from toy to toy

-Not sleeping through the night STILL

-Barley eating baby food. ( He really doesn't like it. If you have any suggestions send them my way. Ive been trying to get him to eat food for 2 months!)

-Loves to play with things he is not suppose to

He is still so much fun!

24 years old

I am not 24 years old. I had a wonderful Birthday with my two boys. Let me just tell you how my day went...

Jackson must have known it was my birthday because he slept in until 8:00. What a great present right! That was awesome. Then Jordan decided he was going to work from home. YAY! So he gave me some cards from family, and a few gifts also from him and family. That was fun. We were watching Kelly LIVE and Zac Efron was on. OK another birthday gift that was unexpected. haha jk. Except I was really excited when they said he was on the show that day. They must have known it was my birthday also. How nice of them!

Next I got ready for my Aerobics class I was teaching that morning. I just got a job teaching aerobics at LA fitness and my first class was on my birthday! What a treat. It went well. I taught Step Aerobics + Abs.

Then my sweet friends from church took me out to lunch at Olive Garden. It was yummy! We had a nice time talking and hanging out.

After that I came home and hung out with Jordan while Jackson Napped...well Jordan was working so I pretty much talked to my dad and Nana.

Once Jordan finished work we played a game on the Xbox Kinect. Those games are fun..and tiring. I was getting tired moving all over the place.

So then we drove up to Reston to drop Jackson off at Ashley and Davaughn's place so they could babysit him while we went out to dinner. It was so nice of them to watch him for us. We are so thankful!

Then we had a nice LARGE dinner at Jackson's. No not my baby...the restaurant Jackson's. It was super delish and I ate way too much.

Hope you also enjoyed my birthday too...(I feel like everyone might relive it since I pretty much told them a step by step itinerary of what I did.)

This picture isn't from my Birthday but wanted to post it because Jackson is now big enough to sit in the little play swing we have outside for him. He wouldn't smile for the picture...or even look at me.
He is also pulling himself up onto everything. I had a dream last night that he started walking because all he does is stand all day!

And here I am...On my 24Th Birthday! Such a fantastic day thanks to my Husband, and all my friends! Thanks everyone who made my birthday extra special.

Easter Weekend

We had a fantastic Easter Weekend. Aunt Danie (Jordan's Sister) came to visit and we had so much fun with her! Here is most of the stuff we did in pictures! (Pictures are way out of order...but you will get the idea)
