24 years old

I am not 24 years old. I had a wonderful Birthday with my two boys. Let me just tell you how my day went...

Jackson must have known it was my birthday because he slept in until 8:00. What a great present right! That was awesome. Then Jordan decided he was going to work from home. YAY! So he gave me some cards from family, and a few gifts also from him and family. That was fun. We were watching Kelly LIVE and Zac Efron was on. OK another birthday gift that was unexpected. haha jk. Except I was really excited when they said he was on the show that day. They must have known it was my birthday also. How nice of them!

Next I got ready for my Aerobics class I was teaching that morning. I just got a job teaching aerobics at LA fitness and my first class was on my birthday! What a treat. It went well. I taught Step Aerobics + Abs.

Then my sweet friends from church took me out to lunch at Olive Garden. It was yummy! We had a nice time talking and hanging out.

After that I came home and hung out with Jordan while Jackson Napped...well Jordan was working so I pretty much talked to my dad and Nana.

Once Jordan finished work we played a game on the Xbox Kinect. Those games are fun..and tiring. I was getting tired moving all over the place.

So then we drove up to Reston to drop Jackson off at Ashley and Davaughn's place so they could babysit him while we went out to dinner. It was so nice of them to watch him for us. We are so thankful!

Then we had a nice LARGE dinner at Jackson's. No not my baby...the restaurant Jackson's. It was super delish and I ate way too much.

Hope you also enjoyed my birthday too...(I feel like everyone might relive it since I pretty much told them a step by step itinerary of what I did.)

This picture isn't from my Birthday but wanted to post it because Jackson is now big enough to sit in the little play swing we have outside for him. He wouldn't smile for the picture...or even look at me.
He is also pulling himself up onto everything. I had a dream last night that he started walking because all he does is stand all day!

And here I am...On my 24Th Birthday! Such a fantastic day thanks to my Husband, and all my friends! Thanks everyone who made my birthday extra special.

Easter Weekend

We had a fantastic Easter Weekend. Aunt Danie (Jordan's Sister) came to visit and we had so much fun with her! Here is most of the stuff we did in pictures! (Pictures are way out of order...but you will get the idea)

The Cutest 7th Month Old Ever!

My baby is 7 month old! Yikes, does that mean I am getting old too? He is doing lots of stuff these days. Here's the stats:

Weighing in at 17lbs
27 inches long
Still only 2 teeth
Laughing so much
Loves to pull all the folded or unfolded laundry out of the basket when we are not looking.
Will try to touch anything that he is not suppose to. (phones, computers, tablets) and trys to chew on them
He is in 6-9 and 9 month clothes.
Has LOTS of hair.
Wanting to crawl like crazy. He does this scooting thing where hes on his hands and one knee and the other leg is like straight and he just kinda drags it behind him when he scoots. It's pretty funny...I just hope he figures out how to get the second knee under him. :)

Jackson is so big now! I have been looking back at pictures when he was first born and I can't believe how much he has grown and changed. He is 7 months old today. And he is just a happy happy baby. We love him so much.

Trip to the ZOO

Last week we went to the D.C. National Zoo. I took the metro in all by my self! I was nervous because I had Jackson with me and all his stuff but it really wasn't that bad. We went at a good time so the metro wasn't too crowded.

We met my sister-in-law up there because she had to do a school project and observe the animals. I was excited to go because I hadn't been to the zoo in years, and it was Jackson's first time ever! He didn't really seem to care about the animals too much though. That's okay we still have a lot of fun. It was a beautiful day also. Here are a few pictures...we really couldn't get a good one of Jackson, oh well we tried.

We are a bike couple now!

We are officially a bike couple! We bought new bikes this week so we can go riding together. I am super excited too because they match. Just kidding that's not why I am excited, I am excited because now we can exercise together with Jackson trailing behind us in his nice comfy trailer.

Here are a few pictures...we decided we should get Jackson a helmet too and we just love it on him. It cracks us up...i bet it will crack you up too!

Jackson is 6 months!

Jackson turned 6 months on Saturday, February 25. He is just getting so big and fun. Here are his stats:

-Weight: 15lbs 14oz
-Length: 26.5 inches
-Right now his eyes are greenish. Which is cool! I hope they stay that way.
-He is sitting up all by himself.
-He has 2 bottom teeth, and I think might be getting the top ones soon
-He is FINALLY sleeping in his crib, not through the night though.
-He loves bath time. He has figured out how to splash his hands and make water fly everywhere.
-He is saying things like daddada, nanana, gagaga
-He has tried eating rice cereal, Bananas, sweet potatoes, and peas. He doesn't really like anything but milk. He is getting better though. He actually ate 5 bites of peas 2 nights in a row. We are making progress!
-He also sat up in the jogging stroller for the first time yesterday without his car seat! He loved it. I will say it is much easier to push too without the car seat attached.
