Growing Belly

These two pictures were taken on Sunday. I was 26 weeks and 5 days. People still tell me I'm really small but I do not feel that way. I have notice that some things are a lot harder. Like bending over! haha In my step class tonight we were stretching and when I went down to stretch my hamstring it like hurt! I was thinking wow that's new...so I didn't do it.

Last week I took my Glucose test. And...I Passed! Yay no gestational diabetes for me! whop whop. I am low on iron though so I have to take an iron supplement. I thought I eat a lot of meat but I guess I am not. A trip to target will fix that though.

Some ladies at work have kinda scared me a little bit. They were like are you allowed to do jumping jacks? Can you still teach. You shouldn't do blah blah blah...So Wednesday at my check up I will be making sure I am not harming my baby or myself. I don't want to go into labor because I was exercising. I know I'm not suppose to twist and do ab work so we will see. I mean I know my body and I know when I am pushing it too much. I guess because this is my first child I just want to make sure I am doing everything right. I know I am suppose to exercise but If my step class, hi lo class, and body sculpt are too much then I don't want to hurt my little guy. He needs to grow and become strong. Can't have him coming to early! I read that 30 minutes after you work out you are suppose to feel then kick a few times. But I don't know how true that is cause I can feel him kick most of the day but not too much RIGHT after I work out. I think I am over analyzing this.

Anyway I also went to a baby bazaar on Saturday. It was good but I didn't get anything. Nothing really caught my eye. But they have it again in September so I will probably stop by again and take a looksey around.

Things I'm Lovin Right Now

I have been looking online lately at baby stuff. We haven't picked out most of our big stuff yet, like a stroller, carseat, and oh yeah What the room will look like. We will be moving to a bigger apartment so I can't actually start decorating a room for him until then. But looking online to get ideas is always fun. There are some extravagant nursery rooms out there. I mean they are babies they don't even care. I like the more simple look, but still very cute. And here are some other thing that I have my eye on.

I love this diaper bag. My big sis has this brand of diaper bag and it just seems so much cooler than all the others. Probably because she has it :) I really like this print though!

We already got a snug rider for the carseat to go into for a quick easy stroller. And its greco brand so I need to get a greco car seat. I thought this was cute. I mean I really haven't looked to hard at carseats, the more I look I dunno if I like it as much anymore.

I really want a jogger too. They are so cool! I probably won't be getting this one. It's a B.O.B and I dunno if Jordan will let me. Maybe I can find someone selling one in good condition still!

Okay I thought these Owls were so cute. haha They are little pictures you hang. Maybe I can decorat a room around these owls. Who know? haha but I just like them.

This weekend there is a Baby Bazarr and I think I might go. It's a big flea market of baby stuff. People sell used/new things. I think it would be fun to go and see what deals I can get! If the weather is good I think I might stop by and see how it is.

Uncomfortable....is this the beginning?

Last night was the first night since I have been pregnant that I could just not get comfortable!! It was so annoying! All I wanted to do was lay on my stomach but when I did that it really wasn't that comfortable because there is a baby there, and it made me have to go to the bathroom. Did I mention that my body was super duper achy all over too. I taught a step class earlier that night and my hips, feet, and legs just felt so tired. Is this the beginning of the upcoming 15 weeks? And the best thing about all of this is our little guy was moving around so much! He likes to dance or box or something...maybe a soccer player? Or a gymnast. Or maybe he is just really hyper. haha I dunno but I love love love it!!! Other than only getting about 5 hours of sleep It was fun to feel him move around most of the night.

On to other things. I'm finally getting my hair done today. Nothing big just a clean up. It has gotten so long within the past few months. It will probably look the same haha but still it is just fun to have someone cut and style your hair. Even if it's nothing drastic.

Tomorrow=FRIDAY! and I have to re certify for my First Aid and CPR/AED for work. I should probably look over those manuals before I look silly in front of all my co-workers. Don't worry we aren't doing the exam at 6:30am!! At least I get to do it while I'm working. That was nice of them to let me work and re certify while everyone else has to go to work after the class. I'm killing two birds with one stone! Yippee!

And I am almost in my 3rd trimester! Crazy! Some girl at work yesterday was telling me how easy labor is. She was going off on how she only had to push 6 times and she was only in labor for a few hours. She was all its not hard at all. I was like um okay but you do realize that it's not like that for everyone right? I mean I really hope I can come out of this and say oh yeah that was super easy. But I feel that I need to be somewhat prepared for the pain I will have to endure. I mean c'mon I'm the one who use to get stomach aches everynight and growing pains when I was younger (not that they did much. I'm only 5'1) and cry about it! I just smiled at this lady and told her thanks for making me feel better. I love how many people have told me their labor stories also. I mean they just tell me, I don't ask or anything. One lady delivered in her car! YIKES!

24 almost 25 weeks!

Here are some pictures from my birthday and a picture of me at 24 weeks and a half weeks. we have both felt him move and it is the coolest feeling. i cant wait until he gets bigger and Jordan will be able to feel him more!

23 weeks on my 23rd birthday

i thought it was pretty cool that i was exactly 23weeks on my 23rd birthday! I'm using our ipad to post and for some reason it is taking forever to put a picture up so this post will not have my birthday pictures up.

anyway i had a great day. i had to work early and teach a 615am class. it was definitely one of my best classes. i had a lot of energy and it was just a lot of fun. my two co workers are so nice and got me a gift certificate to buy buy baby. cant wait to use that! when i came home i took a nice birthday nap until jordan got home. he came in and woke me up and surprised me with flowers and all my birthday cards and presents. then he made me a wonderful birthday dinner. he also made me an eclair cake! my favorite! then he gave me his present. like he hadn't already done enough. he told me in June he is taking me to see GLEE in concert. i am so excited. i love glee and now i get to go see them perform! its gonna be awesome.

then that evening we watched glee and parenthood and called it a night. such a great 23rd birthday!

the next day we had a doctors apt and everything is good. only 16 more weeks. were still working on a name.

Baby Moon Documented

We were so happy to be in Warm sunny Florida! The night before we left we danced to Will Smith's Welcome to Miami to get pumped! It sure worked!!!

We went to Florida last week! It was a blast. We had so much fun together, just hanging out being beach bums! We went down to the Keys and South Beach Miami. We both had never been to that part of Florida so we thought it would be a nice get away! Here are a bunch of pictures documenting all the fun things we did!! Enjoy!

Right when we got there we hit up the beach! We decided we would just walk along the beach and be in the sun! This was Halendale beach in Fort. Lauterdale. Very pretty!

Of course we found a homemade ice cream shop in the town we stayed in. It was a cute little town called Cutler Bay right in between the Keys and South Miami.

This is in Key Largo at a snorkeling park we went to call John Penney Camp. It was such a cute park with beaches and trails, snorkeling, scuba diving, and glass bottom boat tours.

We decided to do the glass bottom boat tour because I cant scuba dive and I was a whip and was too scared to snorkel. They just drop you off 8 miles out in the ocean at the reef. I didn't feel comfortable in my condition. The boat tour was awesome though. We saw sea turtles, a sting ray, lots of Dori fish (you know Dori from Finding Nemo, and a barracuda!)

We stayed there all day and soaked up the sun! It was awesome!

This is Coco Plum beach in Marathon Key. Very beautiful beach. The Keys were so empty so we pretty much had the beach to our self. It was so warm there too. In the 80's and 90's all week. I loved it!

We are in Islamarada Key at a cute restaurant on the water.

Jordan ate Dolphin at this place. Not like Flipper the dolphin. (apparently that's illegal) if you see those fish that are hanging up on the ceiling those are a yellow tail dolphin. That is what he ate. He said it was good. I tried it and thought it was okay. I liked my crab cake better!

And we had to get Key Lime pie while we were down in the Keys. It was delicious! So fresh and tart. mmmmm I want some right now!

We even were there for the sun set! It was gorgeous!

Here we are at South Beach in Miami. We were pleasantly surprised how nice it was there. Very clean and we loved the white sand and clear blue water! The water was warm every where we went down there.

HUGE slices of delicious pizza! We ate here twice for lunch because we loved it so much!

He was a marina just a little ways from the beach in Miami. We walked around and would look at all the cool boats!

We stopped at the beach before we had to head to the airport on our last day! This was Diana beach in Fort Lauterdale right next to the airport.
